Ishant was getting decent gametime for Delhi before injury, so he should be okay.
Ishant was dropped from the Delhi side and then his injury occurred. I am worried regarding the test series. We should think of getting Ojha back in the side. Has been bowling well for Bengal and is batting a bit too. As much as it would make Bengal's Ranji plans suck, the Indian test side needs a bit of Ojha.

No doubt Saffers bowled well in game 1 and 2, but India's batting between 30th and 40th over with wickets in hand in both matches has been not just below par, its been downright woeful. Its like we think we have Klusener coming in at 7 or something.
With six runs an over needed, if we just dabbed around the ball for ones and twos even, we could have kept the run rate at 7 or so an over. Yesterday's loss was truly terrible despite how well South Africa bowled.

Ashwin's out for the first two tests :(
Nope, out of the last 2 ODI'S. No cert to make the tests but is in the squad. Jadeja is back in the squad, makes sense, he is better than Binny and any other all rounder and gunned it against Australia in the SC. Not sure he is the man for outside Asia, but that's a debate for another day.

Gurkeerat Singh has been warming the bench. Would have been better to play the FC match last week. Why select so many players for home one dayers. Just select 12 or 13.

Clearly looking at Unmukt Chand v KL Rahul in the opening pecking order. Vijay/Dhawan are not exactly top of the world right now.

Surprised Sanju Samson isn't getting the opportunity as a younger keeper for the Board XI.

Good to see Kuldeep Yadav there. Be exciting to see a chinaman bowler on the world stage and if we honest India need options behind Ashwin, Mishra and Jadeja.

This is getting bad, Tahir has has been withdrawn from the squad to getting death threats and Aleem Dar has been pulled out of the series by the ICC.:sadwalk:

Why the hell are you dumdums talking about Vijay as if he's not one of the best openers in the world?
Yeah, this. And about the Rahul v Chand thing, that's not what the selectors are looking at imo. If anything it's probably Pujara v Rahul v Dhawan to decide who opens with Vijay.
