How far down the ODI pecking order do people think Richardson is now, assuming the selectors aren't picking players just to get miles in their legs or just because they're already in the same country as the rest of the squad?
Since we are playing 5 Maxwell 6 Marsh 7 keeper 8 Faulkner in our team it only leaves 3 spots available for quicks and spinner so Richardson might actually be battling with the likes of Holland or Agar for a spot. But assuming we are focused just on quicks to play from 9 to 11 (occasionally 8 to 11)

Group 1
Starc Hazlewood Johnson Cummins

Group 2
Sandhu Coulter-Nile

Group 3
Abbott Richardson Pattinson Hastings

Group 4
Behrendorff Paris Cutting Fekete

Group 3 I don't particularly have an order for them, but I would say overall Richardson is in the mix, but behind 6 guys for sure. The gap between Group 2 and 3 isn't big but I just feel like Sandhu and NCN deserve to be picked in the top team first if their are injuries. You could also argue that Abbott and Hastings are probably more of a chance of getting a spot at the number 8 spot so when Forkers is playing at 8 it gives Richardson and Pattinson more of a chance.

I forgot to add that the selectors may need to make a decision sometime shortly on MItch Johnson's ODI career. We don't have to focus on the 2019 World Cup in the next squad announcement but there will be an eye to the future and ODI might be the format that he retires/gets dropped from first.

I think he's going to play a lot of ODIs. He's consistently gun in the domestix and the selectors won't want to overburden Haze and the likes going forward.

First choice: Starc, Cummins, NCN
Second string: Sandhu, Richardson, Behrendorff/Paris

Assuming MJ is out of ODI selection contention, and Haze is generally rested due to his Test workload.

Reckon Tye would be higher than Paris, his stocks would have gone up quite a bit over the last year.

Either the mic Klinger is wearing requires some horrid vest or he's developed a woefully hunched back.

Well done Apple eaters.

Thought WA had it in the bag while Klinger was still in.

Who is Dom Michael and how good is he ?.

So glad Quiney can't play without a commentator mentioning his 9.

Still the most glorious innings Test cricket has ever seen

Is all of this match being shown today or are we missing the second half for some old movie or something, like last night - what a joke..

Quiney being selected is just awesome..

The game we have all been waiting for and the big guns are back

Starc for the 'tahs and Quiney for the Vics

The Big Show disappoints again.

Quiney's class showing out

Need something good from Wade

What has been Finch's problem during tourney ?
I don't think the pitches have suited his game. Finch dominates on flat true pitches, anything which requires some adaptability he struggles a bit.

He's been thinking that there's a Test openers spot up for grabs so have been batting like it's the Shield.
Quiney to open the batting for Australia!

- Warner is used to batting with a left hander who plays for Victoria
- Handy medium pacer
- Make of best ever 9 in Test Cricket.
- Top bloke
