Definitely NSFW. Cheers Duffer.
Similar to that Sandow-Miz angle they had going for months and months. They built it up and built it up and what happened? Big Show dumped Miz out of a battle royal, Sandow broke away from Miz for a week (by cutting a ****ing brilliant promo btw) and then Miz stole Sandow's girlfriend, leaving poor Damien to tag team with ****ing Curtis Axel. Yay. Way to go wwe. What annoys me is most is the fact that, for all the E's problem with long-term vision and booking, they devoted months and months to this steaming pile of crap of an angle, and at the end there was no blow-off whatsoever. Just endless matches and segments that went nowhere and, other than the odd bit of Rusev comedy or Summer going mental, did nothing for anyone. And then it just ended, more or less off camera.
It's no wonder ratings figures are in the gutter when this is the sort of thing viewers are made to put up with.
Well it's not unusual for employers to have guidelines about two employees dating, but it'd be a bit odd for him to be upset about it given how often it happens in WWE. Notable example being Triple H & Steph...Don't get me wrong, I'm probably the happiest guy that it's finished but if that's the reason(as opposed to how excruciatingly cringe it was) then it's pretty lame.
edit: And it doesn't put Vince in the greatest light either. What's his problem with who date who, it's none of his business and the Rusev and Lana partnership worked really well on TV.
Surely they can't put him the dog house over this? How many actual fans read TMZ anyway? They could've continued it and most people wouldn't be wiser.
You'd have thought so, but apparently Ol' man Vinne Mac has been pissed about them being a real life couple for a while. I doubt their engagement has done much to improve things.
I hugely doubt Vince would be mad about that. Everyone dates everyone in WWE. It's nothing new.Well it's not unusual for employers to have guidelines about two employees dating, but it'd be a bit odd for him to be upset about it given how often it happens in WWE. I think it's just the fact that it's Lana, and they're determined for her to be a big star. Her being involved with Rusev, and Rusev being an evil Ruskie, or whatever he's meant to be these days, will hinder people warming to her...or so the old man thinks. In reality, as others have said in here, I expect the amount of people who actually give a **** is minimal, but y'know...blerghI hugely doubt Vince would be mad about that.
