If it is worth anything, I genuinely think your "I'm not going to spend my night goin through archives" line will catch on and become a CW meme.pretty much tbh, except the bolded. That was just a happy side-effect.
I heard they broke up?About Dhoni, I know he got a lot of flak for the semi final innings, when once again it was Jono's boy who was a bigger culprit for getting distracted by Anushka, India was out of that game pretty early...and Dhoni just tried to take it till the end as much as he could. I thought the Dhoni hate was totally unfair.
But today, I felt Dhoni should have finished the game. Rahane and Sharma set up the game. So, is this failure part of a larger decline in Dhoni the player we know or is it just the injury which greatly hindered his shot making prowess?
Jono and Lolhi are still very much together and going strong AFAIKI heard they broke up?
edit: Or not.
such as?I mean somehow thinking 'fun' would be to log onto a forum and thread you have no involvement in and posting garbage, and yet thinking other people are losers...that's incredible lol
I'm not going to go ahead and spend my night going through archivessuch as?
literally all I said was that Dhoni isn't the player he once was and that I've seen him lose games that India should have won
and where did "thinking other people are losers" come into it?
you're really stretching here
didn't think soI'm not going to go ahead and spend my night going through archives
Do you really think I give two ****s whether you agree with me or not?
Dude chillax. You're talking this forum wayyy too seriously.didn't think so
If you're going to go ahead and talk ****, at least let it have some basis. Making completely arbitrary insults with no basis in history or fact tends not to get very far.
calm down m8. No need to get mad.Dude chillax. You're talking this forum wayyy too seriously.
9 per over in the last few might not be the toughest in cricket these days, but it is not a walk in the park. We often make the mistake of labelling something either too tough or too easy. When Kohli came in to the crease, India were in a strong position. He played a bad inning 11(18) and when he left India needed 90 off 10. Despite the sixes Rohit hit after that, the RRR was always hovering around that 8-10 mark. As I said, it is not the toughest job in the world, but it takes some seriously good batting. When Rohit got out, RRR was 9 then also. Raina hit a googly outside off against the spin. Yes Dhoni couldn't finish the job here, but I won't blame him. Even the best finisher can't score 9 per over in the last few everyday. There is a big difference between 7 per over with wickets in hand and 9 per over.About Dhoni, I know he got a lot of flak for the semi final innings, when once again it was Jono's boy who was a bigger culprit for getting distracted by Anushka, India was out of that game pretty early...and Dhoni just tried to take it till the end as much as he could. Yeah I get that but here's the thing, if it's 9 per over with 6 wickets in hand, 90 to get, I would back Dhoni to win me that game 8 times out of 10. So is today's game one of those 2 times when doesn't because he's human, or because he was injured or because he is on a decline?9 per over in the last few might not be the toughest in cricket these days, but it is not a walk in the park. Maybe 5 times out of 10 when opposition has Steyn-Morkel-Rabada-Tahir and SA fieldersYeah I get that but here's the thing, if it's 9 per over with 6 wickets in hand, 90 to get, I would back Dhoni to win me that game 8 times out of 10.
