Rohit had a pretty good world cup, match winning century against Bangla and was one of the few who stood up against Australia. He is the least of India's limited over concerns at the moment.

Hey that's the reason the people 'close to the team' gave to justify his place in the side.

Rohit's been good since moving up to open the batting in ODIs, yea, but he was a mediocre middle order batsmen at a time we had the likes of the Tiwaries, Uthappa, Jadhav, Rahane, Nayar, off the top of my head all pushing for a spot in the side.

Nohit s the Best strokeplayer we have in LO cricket right now. I understand the debate about who bats where but he obviously belongs in the side.

He is just so well informed about things which allows him to provide some very interesting insights. He doesn't just say 'great shot, poor delivery, should have done this, should have done that'. He gives a bit of a historical perspective, then talks a bit about recent emerging patterns in the game etc. Helps me understand the game so much more.

Rahane still struggling with that strike-rotation.

RRR at 6.5 now. Assuming the goal is for Nohit to bat deep, Rahane should be looking to enter beserk mode soon.

OMG Rahane at three is crap, dude plays out too many dot balls and then looks for the big shot, I don't understand why they keep thinking he can't finish an innings when he clearly has the shots to do so and did it in the WC, he's either an opener or a finisher, 3 and 4 doesn't work for me for Rahane period.
