I don't think Misbah wants him back anytime soon. So while misbah is around he might not be in the team

Not sure where you got this from, Misbah in his interviews has been asked this on a number of occasions and he has said he has no objections to any of the 3 coming back through their performances.

Tearing it up at the moment, some decent batsman in the opposition as well.

No reason whatsoever not to call him up next tour, you could argue it is to early, but really can he be a worse option than Junaid Khan?
Are these FC matches?

He is indeed making it very difficult to keep him out of the side now.. Having said that, I really dont want to see him in the side for this series, least of all, in the place of Junaid Khan.

I am quite amazed by the way the Pakistan fans have tacitly discarded Junaid because now they have more options, when this guy pretty much carried the bowling attack for a good couple of years, playing on the most unhelpful conditions because the darling Amir was sent to naughty corner. And now that he is back from naughty corner, we'll just say bye bye Junaid.

Junaid had two major injuries last year which has impacted his performances greatly. But he deserves preference over everyone including Amir to be given the opportunity to bowl and regain his form.

He has the ability...just a matter of time now.

Yeah I still think Junaid is a good bowler.

Such variety amongst Pakistan's left armers.

Junaid very different from Amir, who is probably a better version of Rahat. And then Wahab is is own thing.

For the first test I'd probably go:
Imran
Rahat
Wahab
Yasir

with Malik to make up the remaining overs.

LOL there is daylight between Amir and Rahat.

Having said that, Pakistan needs to look after and manage efficiently this reservoir of fast bowlers - Junaid, Wahab, Rahat, Imran, Irfan and Amir.
Wahab should not be playing every ODI and T20, and he like Junaid is very injury prone which means you won't always have them. Rahat has improved a great deal but his propensity to bowl short on flat decks in ODIs is a major concern..so he should definitely not be a first choice ODI bowler. Imran impressed me with his improvement in Sri Lanka, where was prodigiously swinging the ball. Hope keeps developing as a bowler.

Irfan, once again is another injury prone bowler, so he is not going to be playing every ODI either. And then you have the Anwar Alis and Bhattis and Aamer Yamins and Ehsan Adils to fall back on.

i like rahat. i think he has usually bowled very well on home decks that would make me cry if i was a touring bowler.

I'd agree with pretty much all that, but Junaid is poor right now and should be nowhere near international cricket sadly. Rahat is a strange one, mega gun potential, but can be very erratic at times, but most certainly worth persisting with.

I'd go left field and fast track Hamza rather than trusting Junaid at the moment.
