He is 'filler' bowler.. u need these kinds of players too..Your strike bowlers should not be playing every game..

Can anyone please tell me what the PCB see in Asad Shafiq as a limited overs player?Also a strange one to rest the Welsh boy seeing as he's been superb lately and isn't even playing test cricket for Pakistan.

Yeah Pakistan have better bowlers than him to use for JAMODI filler IMO. I think he was picked more as a Binny-type player than as a squad bowler, but there was no real need to pick him as an allrounder given Wasim was playing so it should have been another specialist quick.

Wow just wow..you have Imad Wasim come in and perform in not 1 but a few games consistently, and right when he is at his hungriest for international success, wanting to make his mark at this level, you drop him for Asad Shafiq.

I even think Chari playing the Tests is a bit silly but I can at least see the logic in it in that he can keep out the good ones better than most of the other top order options. Chari playing the one dayers despite being a very limited player and not having any real performances to speak of in any format domestically is just ridiculous though. I'd legitimately rather see even Prosper walk out at #3 as a specialist batsman at this point I think.

He actually went okay tbf. Definitely seems to have worked on rotating the strike since I last saw him bat properly.
I think it was just because two right-handers were at the crease and there was an offie bowling from the other end as well. It was definitely silly though.
Chigumbura randomly not batting #4 anymore is so weird. I thought it was a strange decision to bat him there in the first place but he gunned it there and now he's down the order again. This is actually a really good platform for him too. Sigh.

I've been trying so hard to remember to call Chibhabha "Chamu" instead of "Justice" but he's even got a new shirt with "J. Chibhabha" printed on it now, so he clearly prefers Justice. Commentators can GAGF.
