Those shots were pretty dumbass.

What a GOAT player, a pity this team is full of schmucks all around such a talented god.

How many other teams could be 3-150+ at the halfway point after being 3-30 after 9?

Maxwell factor.

Seems like a kind of day for Batswell to throw it away in the 90's

Wonder how he'll do it

Well Dan would prefer a 200 total from 30/3 with a nice styled 70 or 80 off 120 balls.

I prefer Maxwells strategy of keeping 300 in play at all times. The irony is, the earlier he comes into bat, the more balls he could possibly bat with.

I don't think that Maxwell is unintelligent. I just think he's a little overconfident. But he does have the talent to back it up. He's averaging 34 with a strike rate of 125 in ODIs. You'd take that any day of the week.

Would you take it over a 50 average at 72 SR?

Credit where credit's due, Maxwell has played well today. But I think everyone would prefer it if you'd not follow me around various threads attempting to pick the same fight. The amount of times tour threads have been stunk up by personal vendettas is too high already; another one is just overkill.

On a completely different note, Bailey's batted well today. Understated, solid (once the ball stopped swinging), and playing a really important foil to Maxwell there.

Poor shot selection there.

I'm not going to decry people getting out reverse sweeping simply because its a reverse sweep (for Maxwell it definitely is a 'normal' shot), but that wasn't the ball for it.

Seriously, Stoinis and Wade are both cake-y batsmen. Maxwell and Marsh are not. I can accept batting Maxwell ahead of 'em because you rate him a better bat, but ffs, this isn't time to make an upside-down cake.
