Edit: Or we lose the match and declaration peeps look silly, but then again #risklosetowin #kohli

So surely Stuart Broad cannot find a place in India's best XI now

Jokes apart, well bowled Ishant. Considering his age if he can keep this up for a few more years he can end up with a very good career.

Excellent win from India, still wish we had won in Galle after the position we were in, but ehh.. Ishant getting banned not the best news, but I think we have enough of a bowling pool now (esp in the subcontinent) to do without him. Can't wait for SA series, still do hope we play 5 bowlers in the SC, all we need is to get our top order right and hope any one of Ashwin/Mishra/Binny/Bhuvi score 40-50 runs to help out the top 6 and we should be good.

Yeeee good win. Good series.

Yadav still a WIP but he's getting there. Ishant so good now.

Binny did alright too. Would prefer Nohit out of the XI when the openers are fit - Vijay Dhawan Pujara Kohli Rahane is a really solid top 5. Or swap Che and Jinks arnd like some people were suggesting earlier.

Whart's the consensus on Naman Ojha? Is he better than Saha?

They're pretty different. Ojha's the better pick if he has to bat six (or seven below Binny - same thing) but Saha would offer more value if six batsmen were selected because he's the better gloveman and more likely to dig in and form a partnership even if he's less likely to downhill ski his way to Test tons.

Feel bad for the Sri Lankans who got fined. What could they do when Ishant was being such a clown!

Nah, Chandimal was way too over. Physical contact is not warranted. And Prasad chasing Ishant was as bad as well. If I was captain I would have taken Prasad out of attack, asked my spinners to bowl legstump line till 80 overs, and then take the new ball and ask my fast bowlers to go for Ishant's throat with the new cherry and get the bastard ****ting in the pants.

He'd get out at 80.1 and not think twice about it. Ishant always defends balls at his throat and gets caught short leg. It's his thing.

To be fair, if my side had been given such a thorough rectal examination by literally the worst test bowler to have ever taken 200 wickets I'd be livid too.

Although Chandimal clearly couldn't come to terms with this.

Funny, from what I saw Ojha looked the better gloveman but I can't see his batting handling too much scrutiny - purely a downhill skiier. Saha's keeping looked rather poor but he looks a better batsman.

No idea what their first class careers say.

Nah Saha definitely the better keeper. Ojha is more of a batsman keeper. He is going through a purple patch with the bat, at least he was last year.
