Yeah the Michaels comparisons have been around for a while, and rightly so. Has a similar style and physique and puts on consistently great matches. The way he's able to smoothly land on his feet after countering a suplex/AA is eerily like HBK too.

Raw was fun despite too many non singles matches.

Haha the tie grab was brilliant. Owens is such a good heel. Love his in ring taunts. His face after the Balor entrance was gold. I'm a big Demon Balor gimmick mark but an unimpressed Owens leaning back in a chair trumps it.

The division is ****ed, doesn't matter who they call up, with **** booking and writing they are pretty much doomed. That segment on Monday was absolute torture.

Meltzer and Alvarez nailed how dreadful and how stupidly they are booked at the moment.

They've done nothing except add more names, but put them into little cliques, and made matches longer, which is encouraging, but there's no story and because they all clique tag teams they're boring, highly predictable matches.

It was a shameless, attempted cash in on the hype revolving around female athletes and Ronda and the NXT wrestlers. There was no sincerity behind it. There was no revolution back stage. And so the revolution in the ring is gonna fizzle out. But at least AJ is gonna lose her record....

The matches increasing in length and in number should not be quickly eschewed imo. All the other problems notwithstanding (and I don't deny that the problems are manifold) it's a far cry from the days where there'd be one divas match on the entire card that lasted about 2 minutes and consisted nearly entirely of stupid spots which revealed the participants' asses.

I actually believe there has been something go on behind the scenes to try and reinvigorate women's wrestling (maybe not from the higher ups, but someone's gone to bat for the girls); it just happens to have been handled really badly. The problem with having so many characters in one division seems to be that they don't know what to do with them all, and so their fallback tactic when it comes to booking has simply been "use all the women".

The biggest problem is that they've been battling for supremacy without going after the one thing that would actually cement it, the title.

I don't know how much the reign/record influenced this, but playing buddy-buddy factions instead of fierce competitors who want to be on top has really hurt the... I want to say story, but I can't because there isn't one here.

Also the Summerslam match was ruined by Team Bella's extended heat segment that consisted of nothing but Alicia Fox doing the same old **** the division has always had.

They wanted to tell the story of them seemingly crushing the "revolution", sure, but they really should've cut it short in favor of Bad staying in there for longer.

I realize they might have wanted to protect Banks after her match at Takeover, but the whole thing could've been handled so much better.

It was pretty lame how they began the whole Divas revolution thing. Stephanie comes out like a kindergarten teacher and goes "You! go there with them. You! there! Stand there in that corner! And you, the third one... go with those two... whatever." It was so random. Just bringing them up one at a time would've been so much better. This is a bit of hindsight though, as when they did that triple submission spot, I marked out and thought it genuinely could be something fun.

The biggest problem is obviously that the Bellas are woeful and no one cares about them. This would've worked brilliantly if say, WWE had someone like Beth Phoenix as a dominant champion and all the others women trying to take her down.
