Choose a first name and a last name and then make a team out of it. A very fast draft

From the op:

*players can be used by multiple teams. for example, say one user goes with steve and jones, and one user goes with mohammed and smith. both are eligible to pick steve smith in their team, there is no race or anything, after the 2 rounds, after everyone has chosen their first and surnames they will use, you just post your XI whenever you feel like. we will vote on the best like the other drafts.

Ok so I want to take two positions in the middle order, I would take the Waugh's because they fit these positions, however I want the Chappells so I'll rearrange things slightly

1. WG Grace
2. Bill Wodfull
3. Ian Chappell*
4. Greg Chappell
5. Bill Ponsford
6. Bill Barnes
7. Billy Wade+
8. Bill Lockwood
9. Bill O'Reilly
10. Bill Johnston
11. Bill Bowes

I would just like to ask for future drafts how the timing works. I made my first pick on Friday night. Sunday night - about 4 12 hour periods on - we are finished. So if I see a draft, and am 12th in it - I would expect that my pick is not due for 6 days, but it seems that if people pick early then I could get caught out and timed out on my pick. I'm not complaning, as that creates a nice quick draft, but would just like to know if I ever enter one in the future.

Yeah, that's usually how it works on CW. I think most drafts give 24 hours though, this one was intended to be quick as alluded to in the title.

yeah 12 hours max per pick but 3 people might pick in 20 minutes, so you have to keep checking the site to make sure you're not up.

Rounding! I didn't think all those decimals looked ***y. I rest my bowlers with Gooch and Hick and the other Sid Barnes to score the other couple of wickets. I think the Australian heyday of Warne, Gilespie, Mcgrath, Lee & co only got to about 18.

Pretty happy with my team. Total match experience of 649 tests is not bad for such drafts.

Who has the most balanced team, ie firstnames count closest to last names. I see 7 v 4 in yours and the Ian Taylors. I was 8 and 3.
