Question for those who follow tennis more closely than I do:

Which of Federer, Nadal or Djokovic at their absolute peak do you think was better?

in my opinion:

1. Novak 2011
2. Federer 2006
3. Nadal 2010

But overall Federer is probably the most amazing sportsmen I've ever had the privilege of seeing.

for me it was federer...

also novak to finally win cincy tomorrow...
Not sure if Novak is 100% fit, but you'd think its going to be damn hard for Fed to beat Novak on hard. Then again Gulbis, Goffin and Dolgopolov have come damn close last 2 weeks and Fed ****s on them.

Yeah its close. Not wanting to turn this into a Warne vs. Murali debate, but you gotta look at who Novak was beating the **** out of in 2011. He was blitzing peak Rafa, Fed and Muzz.

He needed to win the French that year, and it would have definitely been him.

to elaborate on my point...

grass - federer, djokovic, nadal
fast hard courts - federer, djokovic, nadal
slower hard courts - djokovic, federer, nadal
indoor courts - federer, djokovic, nadal
clay - nadal, djokovic, federer

overall federer...

This means Federer overtakes Murray in the rankings and will be Number 2 seed at Flushing Meadow. It means that depending on the draw Murray might have to play Novak in the semi's.

well federer will lose early one of these years and that's all he will need to ensure a win...he was far from his best this week and still managed to reach the final...i am sure it will happen for novak...
