To be fair to the umpires they have had a good series in general. Much better than the fiasco of the series here 2 years ago where there were more shockers than good decisions.

No howlers this match and there very rarely are in fairness. The Voges LBW you could see why not given as was a massive swinger and the Root nick was absolutely tiny.

Yeah other than the no balls thing, the standard of umpiring in this series is the highest I've ever seen. I can't remember a series where the umpiring has been as good as this.

Yeah the No Balls issue is a problem but will easily be solved by the ICC if they can be bothered.

Obviously catching chances are far too infrequent to make a reliable sample, but I would love to see a graph of clarkey’s catching compared to his batting. Reckon they’d be super similar.
