Because I'm bored and it sounded like a good idea at the time, I'm opting to conduct a series of polls to select a team of the 1990's.
As always we'll select 2 openers, 3 middle order batsmen, a wicket-keeper, a spinner, two pacers, a 4th bowler who can be a spinner or quick depending on your preference and the final player depending on balance and the available options can be the all-rouder, or another batsmen or bowler.
Qualification is to play a Test between 1 January 1990 to 31 December 1999. However I implore you to pick players based on their performances in the 90's alone. Which you probably would, tbf.
I won't exclude any stats as Bangladesh weren't playing yet and Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka weren't that terrible for most of the 90's.
