Wow, too much celebrating from England after Trent Bridge? They don't look up for the fight frankly.
Just follows a general pattern, England's batting has produced this sort of stuff on a fairly regular basis for the last couple of years.

Outside of Joe Root, these are England’s best two batsmen in this Ashes. 2nd and 3rd on the averages.

Gonna take the positives. This is a timely reminder we have a lot of work to do ahead of a tough winter. And er. Well that's it really.
Top post.

Vaughan was banging on about golden generations and world domination as were other parts of the media after the 4th test. It was totally over the top reactionary bollocks. This probable loss should ground them and remind them a lot of work needs doing.Obviously still a very good side in the making, but plenty of stuff to work on.

So lads, how do we expect Buttler to do against Yasir Shah?

We will never have a world dominating team until we can find ourselves a proper genuine worldy quick.

Oz shouldn't have got anywhere near 475 on this track. There was too much wide bowling on the first day.
