If or when Sri Lanka win, Chandimal or Fatty for man of the match?

If forced to choose one, its difficult.
Has to be Chandimal.. SL were nowhere near in the game before he made those runs..

If anything, this match is a prime example of how DRS is so important.

Having been on the receiving end of a number of these 'chokes' I derive nothing, absolutely nothing but immense orgasmic pleasure from this collapse by India...and here I thought only Pakistan was good enough for such chokes.
Tbh we have not had a choke since the shady blokes have been gone Misbah team is pretty efficent in closing out test matches.

they could've also won if they batted defensively and batted well. maybe?
Haha if only every point could be made by saying "batted well". You could just as easily say "batting aggressively and batted well".

Look India needed 153 runs with 9 wkts in hand at the start of the day. 153/9 = 17

If each batsmen had scored even 17 runs India woulda won, fast slow whatever.. but at no point did India look to score until the very end, and that is why they lost. You can bat out as much time as you want but you are not getting runs unless you look to score them, India didn't, they lost. Simple.

This is why for small chases you should always have one batsman at the top looking for runs, makes everything so much easier. When you go into your shell the target just becomes much bigger than it actually is.

Dhawan should've just gone for it in the beginning.

reckon BD would have closed out this chase tbh
They probably would have, heck Pakistan cruised 377 the other week with an opener in his fourth test who was a laughing stock against spin making a big century.

Congratulations Sri Lanka, well played.

If Kohli doesn't drop Rohit now, that will be very adamant behaviour from a new captain. We want our captain to be open-minded, not adamant. We want him trying to win, not to prove a point.

Anyways I'mma head off, congrats SL. I don't even feel the pain anymore because until India field their best 11 I have little sympathy for them.

So many good catches in this test. Very nice to watch.

Not surprised in the least that we suck against spin. If Moeen did what he did in England then this was always on the cards. The pitches in Ranji need changing.

Bhajji and Aaron were serious deadweight here. Rohit needs to **** off for Pujara as well but he won't because Kohli can't kneejerk and get rid of his plan that soon. That would be admitting that he was wrong.

Why is it only Rohit that takes the heat? Rahul failed twice too shouldn't he be dropped as well? I guess Vijay was coming in regardless..

Just feel like it's better for India for Pujara to replace Saha and take the gloves.

Why is Harbhajan so ineffective now? I just don't get how a spinner turns to near garbage with age.. he should be getting better ffs.
