Attacking =/= slogging. Defending will eventually lead to getting out unless you are really good defense wise (which this team isn't tbh). SL's second innings has shown that attacking is the better option which India obviously haven't noted.

All SL showed was that Indian bowlers don't know how to handle a counter attack. No reason to believe Herath is as bad as our bowlers.

No reason to believe he's as good either. If you allow a bowler to bowl at you then yeah obviously they will look good. No one can guarantee how one performs when put under the pump. We just haven't put SL bowlers under pressure so we don't know how good or bad they are.

I guess just like if you play for NZ you don't have the right to complain about lack of test matches and good test series, because NZC is turning a test match vs. Aus into an ODI.

Rohit was just being his casual lazy self with his foot planted on the legside trying to defend a ball pitched on middle stump turn to off. Saha got beaten in the air but he didn't quite look like he was trying to attack.
