wow Australia is touring NZ in Feb? so that's 6 Aus-NZ test matches back to back?Hopefully the NZ groundsmen have decided to keep a bit more grass on the pitches in Feb/March

Think it is 3 in Australia, but 2 in NZ, was meant to be three, but cut one for ODIS.wow Australia is touring NZ in Feb? so that's 6 Aus-NZ test matches back to back?
Drop in pitches are a bit of a problem too.Get Dukes ball into Shield - Ricky Ponting | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo
Interesting idea but it's not just the balls. You can't make it cloudy
Yeah, he's got a Channel 10 contract.I love how he's doing it through any medium except for C9
Did the Poms want to use the Kookaburras back home after their last tour here ?Get Dukes ball into Shield - Ricky Ponting | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo

Watson is the best all-rounder since Sobers, if you ask me he's actually better and is too good to be discarded for long
so did the team they were putting out in england though... Judging the Australian batting line-up on paper is the issue.^Aside from Khawaja that looks a pretty solid line up already. Surely Starc is a shoe in still?
Starc and Johnson should never be in the same team imo. starc shouldn't be playing tests at all, really.^Aside from Khawaja that looks a pretty solid line up already. Surely Starc is a shoe in still?
Hazelwood has taken 16 wickets in 4 tests...So your best bowler on this tour shouldn't be playing tests but a bloke who looks miles off the required standard (Hazlewood) should?
If he just ran in all day and bowled the channel getting nibble on a length that would be perfect. It's what McGrath was brilliant at. It shouldn't be surprising that it's harder than it looks. Having the potential to be like McGrath and doing it consistently under pressure is a huge gap. I think he's good enough to close that gap.Yeah, and his worst performances have been on the two pitches we've needed his skills the most (Edgbaston and TB); hitting the seam and extracting movement, something you can't rely on Johnson and Starc to do.
So? He has bowled well once and Starc has looked miles better.Hazelwood has taken 16 wickets in 4 tests...
