*Official* Fourth Test at Trent Bridge

Finish it off tomorrow then. Hope Broady gets the 10fer as it is well deserved. Sloppy day, Peter miller put on twitter that both teams have played badly and today I agree apart from Stokes, Broad in spells and Voges.

Norwood's on Fire
Four innings in a row where we've had a bowler get 5+ wickets. Don't remember that happening often for us.

Is Tubby on Ch 9? What's his reaction been? He was brilliant at leaving and playing late. The 2 things that have killed us.

Nevill once again playing a somewhat significant role in denying England a 2 day Test victory. WAC, hope he enjoys the super awkward and depressing team meeting before play tomorrow morning.

I'm guessing a lot of times before 1900 when they had 3 day tests and matted wickets.
Yeah, meant in more recent times to be honest.

Doubt we done it often anyway.

We never done it in an ashes match, be a nice record to get.

The declaration was a monumentally stupid piece of being aggressive for aggression sake.

I am so ****ed off with this nonsense. Cook was praised by a lot of ****ing idiots, I'd rather he just not worry about these people and do the sensible and logical thing.

It's a small gripe, and I know wondering in here to say this when we're on the verge of regaining the Ashes is petty, but it seems we're being dictated too by the people on Twitter and Beefy and Warney.

We have one of the most attacking batting line-ups ever from about 5 down, none of our bowlers seem containing, all attacking, we're plenty ****ing positive as it is.

Anyway away from the Whine, great stuff from Stokes, his bowling really is a curates egg, as is his batting, but he definitely can do things.

It didn't really matter because we had our opening bowlers at the crease, which is probably the only reason you should declare in the first innings

Agree that praising it for being 'aggressive' is pretty worthless.

At times in the past I would have bet the tail could have hung around long enough to be irritating and be worth getting up for. I don't that will happen tomorrow. Likely to be over in 30 mins and not worth getting up at 5am for.
