Ball tracking is taking the point after it's clipped the front pad and straightened and drawing a point between the two lines.

No problem with it being given. The hawkeye may or may not be great but it looked out to me on first view.

I've rewound it a couple of times. The hawkeye track seems straighter like it's taken the track from the front pad brushing.

Yeah if the re-direction was slight enough that it could have been via swing the system might not be able to tell the difference.
