I didn't expect nor want a serious responseNah nice try but that is the complete opposite point to what KP is saying. That forum has a bunch of people watching weekly and wahhhing about the product. I stopped liking the product so I stopped watching. I am the exact opposite to what KP is referring to.
I just like Solomonster talking about old stuff, cos there were no podcasts like that at the time.
Much betterOS can suck my wang.
it's all good. it's kevin owens motha****er. but like 1:20.at least give me a link to the moment you're referring to ffs you son of a bitch
I either forgot about that (which is conceivable since I forgot *insert wrestler here* died) or I never knew that after all these years!Managed to get in on a conference call he wasn't meant to have access to re: the booking of RAW in 2004. Stephanie blew a gasket and fired him. The straw that broke the camel's back, apparently.
Solomonster is a gun, but he does have some strange opinions. I tend to agree with him 90% of the time, but he does occasionally come out with some strange stuff. Him raving about Sean Waltman the other day a prime example.
Don't get me wrong, I really liked X-Pac, but...come on.
Yup, very easy listen. I usually just have the podcast playing in the background while i'm doing other work or randomly browsing/CWing.Yeah but the fact he is talking about X-Pac would entertain me is my point, its just a random unnecessary thing that is not worth discussing but he talks about anyway, and its easy listening.
My favourite bit of his podcasts is when he'll respond to a miscellaneous question from a fan providing a hypothetical "do you think X would have happened if Y was never sacked from WCW" and he'll just speak for 10 mins on it with some good knowledge about what happened that time.
Its just easy listening. You don't need to follow the current stuff to enjoy his program, and I obviously fast forward or tune out when he's talking about a specific incident on Raw that I didn't watch etc.
A regular Macho Man Randy Savage youalso - I wouldn't mind Stephanie blowing my gasket.
waheeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I'm watching this and I couldn't disagree more. I'm 30 minutes in and it's been a fun watch so far. That may be because I've been staring at her bewbs the whole time though. On a similar note, why oh why did Paige do the Austin podcast today? Surely, given everything that has recently happened, HHH or Vince steps up and talks about Hulk, talks about Piper, maybe talks about the Undertaker returnining? Even if they just do half a hour and then Paige walks on. Just seems like a wasted opportunity.
Pretty much the only time I bother. Solo is a must every Monday morning though.Oh yeah I agree entirely. I was just throwing in my two cents. His show is always a great listen, not just because of the reasons you state, but because of his reviews of the week's TV. Him talking about it saves you having to wade through all the crap to find bits that are worth seeing.
It's a nice format, and it's because of this I prefer it to most other wrestling podcasts. The Austin, JR and Jericho podcasts, for instance, can be good when they have a cool/interesting guest on and talk about what they think about a recent PPV or something, but often they will largely consist of a big interview with someone I have no interest in/have never heard of.
Heh.also - I wouldn't mind Stephanie blowing my gasket.
waheeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
so did a racist****. a bushwhacker just entered the rumble.
Those smackdowns were so, so good.Yeah, this was back when he was Smackdown's head writer and had a roster full of talented guys with a chip on their shoulders at being given the B-show treatment. It was by far the better show back then, too, but of course he let his competitiveness get the better of him, got caught, and got fired.
are you watching 92 or 2002 when Trips won?so did a racist
Bushwackers, Headshrinkers, Steiner Brothers, Quebeckers. The tag team division was interesting back in the day. Bushwackers were a wacky team. They got the crowd going and were fun to watch. In hindsight, they may seem pointless but they worked in that particular era.Speaking of embarrassing, The Bushwhackers...
Did the crowd cheer or boo when Hogan was eliminated? In actuality, people cheered because they were tired of him, but WWE piped in boos later IIRCthis would have be even better had noted racist hulk hogan not helped nature boy win.
