Tbf, off the top of my head the homosexuality is one of those taboo areas which WWE (by their standards anyway) tends to handle somewhat moderately/tastefully.the "ambiguously gay duo" aspect of it will almost certainly be an embarrassment
A great tag team before joining WWF. Apparently. Can't say I've watched much of their old stuff.Speaking of embarrassing, The Bushwhackers...
Yeah, using being gay as a gimmick is pretty WWE though.the "ambiguously gay duo" aspect of it will almost certainly be an embarrassment
I can't see myself ever watching another one of their matches. It was so bad I skipped over the next match and have gone straight to the rumble.A great tag team before joining WWF. Apparently. Can't say I've watched much of their old stuff.
I haven't either. They were supposedly a brilliantly vicious heel tag team, which is funny because they became total goofballs in wwf.A great tag team before joining WWF. Apparently. Can't say I've watched much of their old stuff.
how dare youSpeaking of embarrassing, The Bushwhackers...
Heh and here's a thread about it.
ffsIt's awesome. why should we feel bad for the guy after he single-handedly ruined our entertainment for more than ten years?
Tbf I'm pretty sure there'll be people reading CW who'll be baffled at why someone in particular hasn't watched wrestling in a decade but still listens to podcasts and posts in the wrestling thread.I don't understand why people on WF still watch. Most of them claim they hate the product, and have done since 2004.
Yeah the undercard on that Rumble is pretty poorI can't see myself ever watching another one of their matches. It was so bad I skipped over the next match and have gone straight to the rumble.
Nah nice try but that is the complete opposite point to what KP is saying. That forum has a bunch of people watching weekly and wahhhing about the product. I stopped liking the product so I stopped watching. I am the exact opposite to what KP is referring to.Tbf I'm pretty sure there'll be people reading CW who'll be baffled at why someone in particular hasn't watched wrestling in a decade but still listens to podcasts and posts in the wrestling thread.
Orient Express v New Foundation was fun,and then Piper in the IC, but man, the Bushwhackers. just got to when Piper comes in btw. man, the popYeah the undercard on that Rumble is pretty poor
The rumble though
Yeah but the fact he is talking about X-Pac would entertain me is my point, its just a random unnecessary thing that is not worth discussing but he talks about anyway, and its easy listening.Solomonster is a gun, but he does have some strange opinions. I tend to agree with him 90% of the time, but he does occasionally come out with some strange stuff. Him raving about Sean Waltman the other day a prime example.
Don't get me wrong, I really liked X-Pac, but...come on.
that's adam's thing, broSummary: OS can suck my wang.
Oh yeah I agree entirely. I was just throwing in my two cents. His show is always a great listen, not just because of the reasons you state, but because of his reviews of the week's TV. Him talking about it saves you having to wade through all the crap to find bits that are worth seeing.Yeah but the fact he is talking about X-Pac would entertain me is my point, its just a random unnecessary thing that is not worth discussing but he talks about anyway, and its easy listening.
My favourite bit of his podcasts is when he'll respond to a miscellaneous question from a fan providing a hypothetical "do you think X would have happened if Y was never sacked from WCW" and he'll just speak for 10 mins on it with some good knowledge about what happened that time.
Its just easy listening. You don't need to follow the current stuff to enjoy his program, and I obviously fast forward or tune out when he's talking about a specific incident on Raw that I didn't watch etc.
