*Official* South Africa in Bangladesh 2015

Congrats to Steyn on the 400.

I thought Philander was our best seamer in Chittagong which was his first game.

Morne Morkel has been a bit leggie but I am sure he enjoyed his time off with his newly married wife so barely bowled a cricket ball for a while.

Harmer is 25, playing his 3rd test match & the first time he has been to Asia. Think he has done well so far too. Certainly not going to be hard on him yet. Bowled well in Chittagong.

The starts from Bangladesh are so painful. 5 batsmen in the top 6 got to 30, only one scored anything above 40 and he went out at 65. Such a good opportunity to post 400+ wasted due to lack of application as opposed to not being good enough technically.

Quoted for truth.

Reckon Harmer will be our first-choice spinner for a while.

Don't see Piedt coming back soon anytime soon, until he's proven he's over that injury.

Isn't it 4 non white players in the team though?

So if Duminy or Bavuma make way for ABDV, then surely Piedt comes back to re enforce the quota?

Would not be surprised at all to see Rabada in for Harmer and Duminy to Moeen it up in home matches.

Thinks it's not a hard-and-fast quota though.

Piedt had a terrible Sunfoil Series, averaged over 100 a wicket I think.

They could chance it.

Do you think Rabada is ready for Test cricket?
I'd err on the side of "probably not", but playing as a fourth seamer behind Steyn, Philander and Morkel on South African decks isn't the hardest introduction to Test cricket one would face.

Bangladesh with a canny way of collecting ranking points. Play the top team in the wet season and draw the series.
haha yeah, thank god India only had 1 test match scheduled. SA should be seriously pissed because they are so ahead of everyone else in terms of points that these 2 draws will hit them hard.

A bit of a shocker. Haven't seen this before. Play was possible from around tea time yesterday and certainly more than 3/4th time today. Not sure what are the rules but looks absurd to me. Bright sunshine from yesterday noon. A bit of drizzle in the morning though but not enough.

Don't think there should be much of an issue with the field conditions either.
