Ashes Trivia

Shady Slim

International Coach
Nah IIRC it was a nut which just turned past his defence and hit off peg.

He got Smith like that too in the same game. Rogers is the opener.
now considering you noted that smith got done that way in the same game and there is only one spot available that could be that game i'll put him in at position twelve because you've basically said it without actually saying it. other two are also correct.

13. Clarke b Panesar 28
lower still

Ashes Monty

1. JL Langer b Panesar ??
2. A Symonds c Jones+ b Panesar ??
3. AC Gilchrist c Bell b Panesar 0
4. SK Warne c ?? b Panesar ??
5. B Lee lbw Panesar ??
6. ML Hayden c Collingwood b Panesar ??
7.

10. SK Warne st Read+ b Panesar 71
11. RT Ponting b Panesar 150
12. SPD Smith b Panesar ??
13. MJ Clarke b Panesar ??
14. CJL Rogers ?? ??

Rogers seems more likely to be caught by the keeper or at slip than in the outfield.

So I'll guess c Bairstow b Panesar for 88.

228. Same with me re the England 1990s blokes. Also missed Tim May in 1994 which annoys me.

everything that is not the runs correct, the runs are somewhat higher

Reckon he's got Symonds at least once more.

Yeah I remembered Prior dropped with Root and Monty but now you've both mentioned it (and se a Shady has confirmed) Prior going earlier rings a bell

I'm pretty sure Monty bagged 7 or 8 at Perth in 06. We've identified the first innings 5, given Australia declared 5 down with Clarke and Gilchrist at the crease then that means he got 2 or 3 of the top 6. We've already identified Hayden, I'm guessing Hussey c Collingwood b Panesar for 100ish and Symonds c deep b Panesar for 30ish.
