Smitteh back to the top with 936 points number 10 in the all time list. Interesting to note that he accumulated 35 points from this game and another performance like this and he could be passing Bradman's 961
imo he is pushing past 900 too fast in the official ratings.. he just got established, shouldn't be threatening all-time peaks yet.

It's an exponential requirement the higher the rating needs to go, isn't it? Would need an insane performance to push it over 961.

Aussies should be tested with some REAL English conditions. Like the one India had to tolerate last year in Manchester when they were 8/4 at one time.

Anyways, a very good cricket match at Lord's!
Rubbish post. What the Indian batsman struggled with at Old Trafford (aside from good bowling) was the pace and bounce of the pitch. That's not a particularly usual characteristic of English pitches, and nor is it something the Aussies will find alien and struggle in.

Aside from the fact that if they actually prepared the REAL pitches he is talking about, Haze and 3Mitches would have a field day.

Your idea of real has been seen only a handful of times in my years of watching cricket in England. When does it stop becoming real and start to become unusual?

The winning margin has only occurred in many years of playing cricket. But by the end of the series may have started to become usual.

Wait what do you mean shouldn't be? He is. There's no should or shouldn't involved here.
He shouldn't be because the official rating system is flawed in that it doesn't discount new (29 tests is when you're just about settled) player performances enough.

:)

I'm nitpicking though, imo he should be reaching 900 after this test, not blowing past it.
