Rumoured that we might get a Sting appearance tonight as well as Taker. Both are being advertised for Summerslam apparently.

Them not using his WCW entrance theme is far worse than anything else that has happened since his run in the WWE commenced. Looking to see where they go with him now.

Him doing a useless comedy skit with Bo ****ing Dallas (bless him) and saying "he doesn't know what he's going to do" when asked about his future in wwe was a little less than ideal I would say.

Eh, given that WWE creative seem to plan things about 2 weeks at a time he probably genuinely didn't know tbf.

Well, far be it from me to tell you what you should and should not enjoy, but I'm surprised that a placid and harmless segment could shake your convictions to such a degree.

Taker has taken goofballs out throughout his career
He doesn't take out a goofball say "i dunno wat ima do now" and go away for months though.

As seldger said though, it's just how I feel. Pointless of you to be arguing with me. It's not going to make me care about him more.

Haha, on a serious note though, what actually would you have preferred him to say? His involvement with WWE has always been pretty ad hoc and non-concrete, and his physical condition as much as anything means he can't work matches on a regular basis. He was hardly going to turn around and say "Bring Brock Lesnar out, I'm going to kill the ****" etc...

I just don't understand how a four minute post-Raw segment can make you not care about a guy like Sting who was already a legend 20 years ago

Could've said any number of things before leaving Raw for months. "ill be watching from the rafters" or have him get beat up by the authority, or do some supernatural **** where he disappears into a cloud of crows or something. Anything except Bo Dallas and "I have no idea if I'll be back". piss weak.

I honestly don't see how any of the above would have in any way been any better. Him saying he didn't know struck me as being earnest and non-scripted.

If he had been beaten down by the Authority it'd have just led to all the IWC ****s saying he'd been buried, or they'd have found something else to moan about. His whole involvement with the WWE strikes me as one of those things that people will always find something to complain about. Simply because they are just determined to scorn it for some reason.

Ok, he's been handled well, there.

Striking down criticism of his run as "lol the IWC" \the weakest defence you could've come up with, sledger. If you and GIMH think Sting's run has been awesome, fine. You don't see me calling your opinion drivel. I think it's been woeful for the most part.

I don't necessarily think his run has been either awesome or dire. Nor have I called your opinion drivel. It's just that, as has been said a few times now, it's curious that a harmless four minute segment that wasn't even aired could cause anyone to completely lose interest in a guy who is a bona fide legend.
