too old, not particularly great. Really he probably is slightly better a prospect than Lyth imo.

If Ballance can develop brilliant off stump judgement and learn a half step to cover off he will become so much better at covering that weakness. If Lyth is on shaky ground you can't also be messing with no 3 at the same time.
