*Official* 2nd Test at Lord's

He just looked like a stiff man, rather than any Broad related. Everything was set up in the right place, and he just couldn't get his weight forward.
Yeah that could well be the case, but certainly a difficulty with forward weight transfer against Broad has been a recurring issue for some time now

Lets face it he is going to have a fitness test either tomorrow afternoon or on Thursday morning. It was a difficult one to work out from the outside as he looked ok in the field and batting and also running in to bowl but the problem seemed to happen when he was stopping himself in his follow through. Might be fine with a few days rest and extra strapping. Doubt if he was unfit though he'd be training yet so looks like he will play.
Heard he had bone spurs so probably a case of how he feels on the day

More worrying were the reports from the commentators that these were a long-standing issue and surgery would definitely be needed at some point

Sounds as if he'll be lucky to last the series in any event and you have to question Plan B when it involves:

a. Siddle;

b. a bowler that hasn't played a fc match in 2 years; and

c. Bueller

Can only assume that the selectors thought that they could get 5 tests out of Starc/Harris and the latter's retirement has left them horribly exposed

A dejected looking Brad Haddin stood on balcony of dressing room while remainder of team trained in nets. Big story brewing here at Lord's.

Will find out why Brad Haddin didn't train in nets, but Peter Nevill completed intense session. Selection plot thickens. @9NewsMelb

they wouldn't

Apparently Watson has unsuccessfully reviewed 14 of his 29 LBWs, what an absolute legend.

I honestly hope he doesn't get axed, we need an all-rounder that hates bowling almost as much as he hates Michael Clarke more than we need a good all-rounder. The material is endless.

Assuming his other 15 were before DRS

The period should be most fondly remembered for giving us priceless moments such as this.

Best part, just as he's going through the gate you know he just wanted to smash his bat on the wall but remembered he had a camera up his bum.
Best part was being in one of the bars at the MCG, and listening to everyone cheer when it was found that Watson was out and not Katich.

Kateesh's reaction after trotting back to the crease, looking to his right, breaks me up. I doubt he could believe Watson was standing right next to him.

People can say what they like about Watto, but we're all going to miss him when he's gone:(

Wasn't the ball prior just a legside pie which was easily clipped for four?

Certainly Clarke's footwork on that shot was all messed up, though, as has often been the case for Clarke against Broad since 2013.
From what I recall it seamed back into him from a similar spot outside off to where the ball that got him landed. They also had the field set to make it look like they were going to bowl short from the moment he got in. Was a good set up for him really,
