Don't forget The Big ShowThe issue with Faulkner seems to be that the selectors aren't confident that he can be a 3rd seamer and/or bat 7
My view is that he is mentally tough and will succeed wherever
Future is MMarsh, Lynn, Nevill, Faulkner and whichever of the quicks off the production line stay fit
Won plenty of games off his own bat at much higher level than CC - says it allDone nothing in county cricket and was dropped for a 37 year old who was signed as an emergency. Says it all.
Because South Africa would beat them both away but lose at home?South Africa is not part of this match. But this test match shows why South Africa is the best test team in the world.
Well we already know Australia are comfortable better than South Africa and England winning here must mean England are best in the World?South Africa is not part of this match. But this test match shows why South Africa is the best test team in the world.
Your lot need a handicap, given that England picking all your batters hasn't worked - reckon now that after all this series will see an aging seamer called Ryan playing a part, and I hope that does slow you downThey can have Maxwell, he is awful.
It's fairly common knowledge that Cook relied heavily on both Flower and then Moore's. You'd see runners going out to him to give him advice and the like. That might be true too, although in the past you'd think he had the freedom to make at least some decisions on the field, and a number of those seemed to be inexplicably negative. It's a bright start to this series though, and I guess only Cook knows how each of the coaches have affected his ability to do what he wants. We'll probably read about it in a book sometime in the future.
are you gonna be his lawyer???Please note - Faulkner already has a gig
brettig has been annoying me this game. that tweet seems dumba good win for spikey
i mean if we want to talk overrated based on overseas performances then yeah we should have a look at lehmann
Hit and giggle yes not proper cricket.Won plenty of games off his own bat at much higher level than CC - says it all
Why do you want a Faulkner debut so much, he's not even Victorian?Don't forget The Big Show
And Faulkner is gun
Are you trying to make them worse?Maxwell, Faulkner, Nevill/Wade/Whiteman
Tha's the future no. 6-8 for Australia. Mitch Marsh probably in the top 4.
Relied on or controlled by, though? It's fairly common knowledge that Cook relied heavily on both Flower and then Moore's. You'd see runners going out to him to give him advice and the like.
Its not a debut. But there could be Melbourne Stars love there. Why do you want a Faulkner debut so much, he's not even Victorian?
So is this newfound ability as a captain a reflection on Cook or Bayliss? It has Bayliss all over it for mine - but then I don't know if Cook has just been stifled his whole captaincy career until now. It's fairly common knowledge that Cook relied heavily on both Flower and then Moore's. Would love to be but he's not going to be able to drive to my officeare you gonna be his lawyer???
