To Tubby's credit, he's actually watched the previous series against NZ. Makes a change from most of the Ch 9 side, who only watch Australian games in Australia.

Yeah, havent seen him bowl it before, and its not like he opened himself up to bowl it. Maybe just a slider that really kicked through, or a carrom-type variation.
Yeah when he's bowled it in the past it's been really obvious; he opens himself up more and it comes out a lot loopier. Either he's been working on making it less easy to pick or it was something else entirely (I'm thinking probably the latter).

To be fair, Nicholas in particular is tripe but he has to play to an audience who, for the most part fit into this category of not watching any other internationals.

He probably just felt like watching it while it was on as opposed to actually thinking it should be part of a professional preparation, but yeah he does seem to have watched some of that series. I don't really mind Taylor that much really; the problem is that he really shouldn't ever be the best commentator on. Taylor/Healy is unbearable as a combination.
