You keep making statements about why this should happen or why that should happen but never give reasons why.

Which rules should be adopted over all forms of the game then?
Standard of wide-ball should be unified by that in limited-over games.
I understand that there are different types of games, like Tests, ODIs, T20s. But they are just difference of game types, not difference of fundamentals of Cricket. So the basic rules should be same in all types of games.
