Lyon's figures are actually pretty decent given he was 53 off 5 overs at one point...

That's what I'm fearing from Mitch Marsh. Granted none of the bowlers look like they were creating much, but If they are going after Nafe and the three quicks aren't long finished their spells I'd want Watto bowling rather than Mitch at this stage.

Yep, honestly about the best case Watson could have made with the ball is a few tight overs on a flat wicket when Marsh was getting hit around. Aside from a bunch of wickets but that was never going to happen.

Reports suggested he (Watson) actually looked threatening at times with his outswing as well.

Why is this even a discussion, this most talented all-rounder since Richie Benaud for Australia or some hipswinging Worst Australian who bowls the juiciest of pies.

Watto deserves more than this.

Well, reading this didn't know which of them was supposed to be which until your last sentence. So that says a bit

1. Smith > top form so if we open with him we should technically get more smith
2. Watto > considering we have crappy openers now and watson is super versatile and reliable i think we should open with him too
3. Clarke* > captain courageous
4. SMarsh > can do some good things on his day, a bit of a throwaway, we have a lot of class under him if he stuffs up so no reason not to have him
5. Haddin+ > remembering that he was fundamental in saving collapses last ashes, here i have elevated him to prevent it again
6. Warner > nothing more than a filthy slogger so put him here to slog a bit and make quick runs
7. Rogers > control around a shaky tail - never trust your tail
8. MMarsh > again you have to remember never trust your tail so to load your team with allrounders is a good idea
9. Lyon > unlikely to get out slogging unlike johnson
10. Johnson > slogger
11. Starc > now what with tests becoming more and more like ODIs what with these huge bats and new shots, starc is a proven ODI bowler so if logic works then starc works too

Nevill played one FC match on WI tour. 21 byes in first innings (382 off 114 overs) and now 25 byes here (5-353 off 79 overs)

I thought he was supposed to be a good keeper?

Marsh bowling a 2nd spell...why no Watto as thought it would be a fair fight for the spot?
