Doubt it's any more sophisicated then "You're kind of a dickhead eh? Why not go out and stick it to some of those bloody poms?"

**** that series was so fun to watch. Johnson running through SA, crazed fired up Morkel, Warners tons. The only thing that I hated was Smith having a shocker of a farewell series.
oh what would i give to see that spell by Morkel on day 2.

Was an awesome series, would have been one of the great series if it was 4/5 tests.

I'll always remember it for de Villiers's batting against Johnson. Really was an awesome series for many reasons though.
SA/AUS always delivers. I think the whole Australia Centurion performance really cheered me up post Ashes we well. Hey, maybe we weren't so ****, this Johnson bloke is literally impossible to play on a fast pitch unless you're AB de Villiers.

Dat Steyn spell too. Especially the balls that got Smith and Haddin in quick succession.

Clarkeh, why you so uncool?

"Banter" gone wrong.

I see he's going for the Russell Brand approach to comedy in that he who gets the least amount of laughs wins.

Honestly though this reminds me of when I had to give presentations in high school and thought I was funny but was instead incredibly lame.

yeah Port Elizabeth Steyn getting the reverse was magnificent to watch. Sad he didn't really show up in the other two tests. Sigh I wish I could watch that series ball-by-ball again.

tbf that's probably the kind of humour that gets you friends in High Commissions. Diplomats are soulless, heartless bastards -- Clarkeh's working his audience. Give 'em something decent and they might collectively explode.

Also interesting to note Clarke snubbing poor Watto again, getting the same level of introduction as new boy Voges who got literally nothing.

When will the constant snubbing and bullying of a great talent end?

I feel like this happened in 2013?

Sports commentary is always dumb that way.

Also I would call not getting out to morkel as getting the better of him. Whereas AB was playing well against Johnson from the get go, so there's nothing there to get an better of. If anything Johnson got a better of AB by getting him out with his slower balls.
