*Official* India in Bangladesh 2015

Don't wanna see Binny inclusion as the 'experiment'. Maybe bring in a pacer for a spinner. And continue with Dhoni @ 2 down but dunno if Rayudu should be given another match.

If the Zim series happen, I wonder how strong the squad that goes over there will look like. Tempted to hope for an experimental side that can provide some young ones and fringe players opportunities to emerge to the s[potlight.
I hope they completely experiment and that's not much due to this current series result, just think a break could do them good, and they have some tough series coming up against Lanka and South Africa also. A fringe line up should have enough to beat Zimbabwe if not whitewash them, the bowling if Chatara looked horrible against Pakistan.

How come bangladesh just selected the kid without him having much of first class or list-a experience?

Just thought they'd experiment against the touring minnow India.

Seriously, though, his limited domestic record is pretty darn good albeit brief.

The Wheel is Forever
Haven't watched the series but from the previous two videos posted, I see the Indian broadcast is as terrible as it has always been. Ffs, how can anyone focus on the game with all those ads and animations on the screen at the same time??

I watched the games on StarSports.com and didn't get any of that stuff (well, certainly not to that silly extent anyway). I'm thinking it's either advertising that the Bangladeshi broadcaster has stuck on top, or advertising on the dodgy streaming site whoever recorded that was watching (video is very grainy so I'm guessing this is a big possibility).

Overreacting much. Australian tour, WC and IPL was hectic and they probably took the time off after that to rest and get fat. We were so good in the WC for so many games, and now it's suddenly an ODI apocalypse because we dropped 2 games to a Bangladesh side that played very well in conditions that they're good in?

That said it was a poor performance no doubt and there are definitely a few changes we can make to improve. Dhoni has just claimed he's going to be batting at 4 from now on which is a very sensible move. Rahane at 5 or 6 is probably not a good idea because he relies on timing and the ball coming onto the bat, which he won't get in the later overs. Rayudu is a joke and should be dropped which leaves one lower order spot up for grabs. Atm I've no idea who is best suited for the role but it's got to be someone who can build a proper innings along with being able to finish so I don't think the earlier suggestions of Pandya and Hooda are really feasible. Right now it seems like it's basically a case of top order fail = loss so we need some padding up of the lower order when those situations arise.

Yeah it's a tricky one because I think the best options to get more solid run output and take the pressure off the top three (thinking Vijay and Rahane here) would only really be effective in the top three themselves.

Rayudu is dire though. I guess I'd think about giving Kedar Jadhav a run at 5. Shreyas Iyer is an option if they want to take more of a punt.
