If you look at the scores for the first three games you'll understand why those performances aren't being too harshly judged.

He was still the most expensive of those. Definitely was for the last one.

Not judging just by scorecard though, even judging by seeing he's too prone to full-tosses and pitching it short, not to mention the general slowness.
