Faarrk. How **** does my Carvajal pick look now? Was hoping to get Benzema this round. Though there was more chance Nate would go with a fullback than a striker. Safe to say that failed spectacularly. Also I kind of just assumed De Gea wasn't around anymore given how late we are on the draft. That's an amazing pickup IMO.

Basically, I don't necessarily need a number 9, Ronaldo can do it really. I was going to pick him next round because I considered him easily the best attacking player left, but I wanted to make sure I actually got the guy who I think is the best RB left. I thought there was a decent chance he'd pick him because he hasn't picked a fullback yet, whereas already has Messi and Müller for the forward positions.

The gap between Carvajal and the next best RB is so small though. I can think of at least one other RB still left that I'd have ahead of him, and a bunch that I'd be almost indifferent about.

If you miss out on Lahm or Alves early I reckon it's best to just leave RB til the end.

Perhaps don't discuss draft strategy in the middle of a draft that you aren't involved in?

True but I don't even know who I consider the next best in every other position now. I wanted Carvajal and Benzema and gambled and picked them in the order I thought I was most likely to get them in.

Its karma, considering Player X was Benzema and only Cabinet (and I, but screw Benzema) knew that.

I would obviously not have picked him (Dare to Zlatan) but yeah. Great pickup at this stage. There's only one striker available at the moment that I think is being overlooked tbh.
