Here's a question. This is a D/N ODI. There are floodlights.

Can someone explain the logic if we get back out there and the game gets shortened?

TV schedules. Sole reason. They wouldn't be curfewed until 11.

Edit: might be wrong as its London.

What a tease..

8.35pm Still raining I'm afraid so no restart imminent. We have until 8.51pm before we start losing overs and the ultimate cut-off time is 9.15pm. But having said that, the groundstaff are out there trying to be busy and it does look as if it might have now stopped raining. Remarkable two minutes here! And there's applause as the covers begin to be peeled back. But now the fourth umpire Michael Gough puts his umbrella back up!

So stupid to lose that amount of overs. We don't need to wait 20 mins if the rain has stopped now? ****ing idiotic.

34 off 13 is not going to happen.

That Duckworth Lewis.... 34 runs off 13 balls. Seriously? So we lose 24 balls but only 20 runs are taken off the target! That settles that then. :(
