Really good final though. I love the World Cup more than anything else but Champions League finals are consistently better than World Cup ones, admittedly there are a lot more of them,

Pretty sure this is the latest a CL final has ever been.
The Prem finishing three weeks after the football league was unprecedented (usually one week) so that was a drag anyway. The whites' last game was 2nd May, we were mathematically relegated on 25th April, so everything since has just been one big unnecessary drag for me personally. We're closer now to our first pre-season friendly than we are to or last game.
Can only assume the prem scheduled fewer midweek games this season because the CL final was so late and similarly assume lots of European countries stared later because of the World Cup, hence the late CL final
However I believe the English season is shortened next season for Euro preparation, so Prem starts same time as FL & conference. Short summer for a lot of top clubs, given many are on post-season tours.

Who the hell is arranging the Euro Qualifiers? Matches right up to June 14th. Less than 3 weeks later the Europa League qualifiers start. Just as well no one wants to qualify.

I thought that about Barca's second and Juve's goal. Good looking saves to start with, but surely they should have been directed further away from the goal to prevent the tap ins.

His game is more well rounded than just a holding midfielder though. He's capable of insane passing and is strong and athletic. Could add a lot to your team.
