Yeah but it's still ill-advised in the context of a professional sporting community such as CC, it's best just to keep quiet about this stuff. Not only is KP rubbishing Ballance for being scared of short balls against guys who, whilst pacy, aren't out and-out quicks anyway, he's making a rod for his own increasingly creaky back by encouraging every quick in the country to test out the middle of the deck every time he's in the firing line (and you bet every young punk will be dying to do so). No news travels faster than a new guy with some pace or someone who's past it and ripe for the picking. Even if he's still picking them up well, it's just added aggrevation he surely didn't need, just intensifies the chat.

If he'd retired from CC and was just a commentaror, say whatever the hell he wants. But as someone who may play CC again, well, I hope he's been doing his yoga.
