Honestly I don't know what people expect 6ft 6 fast bowlers to do. He's taken plenty of high quality catches at mid off/mid on and in the outfield.

Yeah I've seen him take good catches, and he usually puts in a decent shift chasing and all that. Fielders like Anderson, Southee and Boult are very much an exception, not a rule.

There have certainly been worse fielders to play for England in the last few years, let alone other countries.
