Pitch is hardly dynamite - type of wicket that will suddenly look placid when a guy gets in and is playing well. Still offers enough though.
Last time I checked It wasn't bad for tomorrow and day 5, but days 3 & 4 weren't great. What's the forecast for the next couple of days like? I suppose one positive of NZ's scoring rate is it does leave plenty of time for a result in the test even accounting for rain.
Yeah, provided the new ball doesn't do too much damage. There's no reason to think NZ won't get it hopping early if there's some cloud around late tonight/early tomorrow.Pitch is fine. Bit of movement in air and little off deck. Bat well and loads of runs to be had though.
Quick with extra bounce, though. Could make a big score, could make a puny one - the joy of decks like these.Pitch is fine. Bit of movement in air and little off deck. Bat well and loads of runs to be had though.
Agree... Neesham > Anderson as our test allrounder.Well, not feeling Corey Anderson's absence so far.
Have a feeling ECB won't ever give us the three-test series upgrade 'cause NZ are too radical for them.New Zealand is weird.
We will when our seamers are knackered.Well, not feeling Corey Anderson's absence so far.
I'd actually say the opposite if what I've heard from TMS so far. Even old legend Michael Parkinson said he loved the way NZ plays it's cricket.Have a feeling ECB won't ever make the three-test series upgrade 'cause NZ are too radical for them.
One of the reasons we were so laboured in the 2nd innings at Lords. Think Anderson got through 2 overs that innings. We will when our seamers are knackered.
Overrated by selectors, underrated by the fans?Luke Ronchi: the most underrated man in New Zealand cricket?
