Yup, it's kind of depressing to see England risk Ali at 8 as a specialist spinning all-rounder, yet he looks a much better bowling option than Craig.

Southee tends to be overrated by NZ CW fans in particular IMHO.

6 months is about what 3 tests? Boult is ahead now imo but if Southee takes a 5fer in the second test it'll be debatable again. Boult just offers a little bit more when the ball isn't hooping. Definitely think the NZ ers overrating Southee line is too easily thrown out, he's only really tossed around as being as good as Anderson. Just gets a lot of excessive hate that riles up the believers.
