Should be looking for a much bigger lead if we're still in at the close.

The evening session should be all about cashing in if they do the grunt work in the afternoon; particularly given England's batsmen to come the evening session could be carnage.
We need to walk before we can run. Long time to go yet.

There is something to mark craig that new zealand can work with, but right now he's too inaccurate, about as much as moeen ali honestly. Problem is that he's combining that with bowling too slowly. He uses flight but it feels more like the "slow loop" kind instead of actually getting the ball to dip due to the revs. Moeen bowls it faster and slightly flatter but seems to get genuine dip and drift.

Seems to be bowling more short balls than last season.

Edit: and pitching one ball an over down leg side.

Moeen also seems to have a knack for wickets (jammy or not). Which is obviously a bonus.

I though he bowled much better in this game than in the Caribbean.

His bowling was pretty shocking in the windies, though to be fair he was coming back from an injury.

Still bowling to short though, like warne said.
