This implies the West Indian batting lineup has any brains at all.the thing that the windies have going for them is if they get england out for even 300 they will have two whole days to chase it
This is the most i've been waking up to a test match day's play since 2011 Cape Town
Shiv will take a single first ball of the over and Gabriel will edge one straight to Jordan's big bucket hands. Everyone will be like, wtf Shiv. The dream scenario...
WI nine down needing four to win with Shiv on strike needing four to surpass Lara's record. Meanwhile the Burney Lara stands at the end of his run, gathering breath, sitting poised on 399...
It will probably be a bit of anti-climax, but one can always dream.
I don't think it's ever been particularly true as far as I have been watching cricket since the 90's. The only difference has been that SC pitches consistently offer turn despite being flat. And that doesn't mean anybody is calling them all viciously spinning dustbowls either, which is another stupid thing people like to throw around. The subcontinent being flat and other countries assisting bowlers more is a pretty common thought and it's a major stereotype which isn't particularly true these days.
Be worth it for Bajan rum IMO.Use your feet then. There should be a law against sweeping.
Edit: as Moeen's just done. Cameraman's obviously been on the rum.
WI will have to bowl some real pies for England to set anything like that. 120 target is looking likelier.thrilling finish written all over it but w.i. got to take five more within around 75-80 runs. reckon England will have the edge with target set to 220.
When they bowled short, they put the guy back on the fence to telegraph it too. Trott is a bit like a computer, you want to keep as many different thoughts of what could happen going through his head.He was pretty piss in South Africa in 2009. His success in Australia in 2010 was based largely on how Australia bowled at him - I assume prior to the series the Australian plan was to test him out against leg stump half volleys.
2*half an hour of Buttler will be enough
You adopt imports quickly.half an hour of Buttler will be enough
I'd hope at the very least they can double the pathetic total they've got so far. Ballance, Stokes and Buttler have got it in them to do well in these conditions. If they get balls that are too good then fair enough, but the opportunity is there and I hope Stokes or Buttler can translate their ability and genius into a 50 that could win the game.I fancy that anything over 150 will be a tough chase for this Windies lineup on here
Remains to be seen if we can get up to that srt of score - need Buttler or Stokes to get some quick runs with Ballance hanging in at the other end
Agree that should be doable but I'm not confidentI'd hope at the very least they can double the pathetic total they've got so far.
