McCartney's at Melbourne.
"Going OK" wasn't meant as a backhanded compliment, more as in he's where you'd want him to be.Yep, it just a lack of depth, which in part has been caused by that.
Vlastuin is a first round draft pick in his third year, and he's playing as a tagging small backman. That's ridiculous. The bloke has talent, play him in the mids.
I reckon Ellis is fine. Conca has been a bit hit by injuries but clearly didn't kick on as was expected when we re-signed him at the end of 2013.
And Vickery is just a **** ****.
Oh god, you must be concerned if you're listening to Finey.Finey mentioning that Hardwick is a very predictable coach. Quite true.
It's amazing listening even on a normal weeknight. I flick through FM and if there's no tune, I go to SEN.I'm a masochist. I support Richmond.

On Thursday night, I'm in the car and Finey starts talking about ANZAC Day and the amazing efforts and sacrifice of the diggers - I was thinking that he'd lead into something along the lines of hoping that no-one spends time comparing footballers to soldiers this weekend in the media. Instead, he started going on about the drugs scandal, and the fact that the Essendon players never dobbed on each other and how they showed ANZAC spirit, had a bunch of shots at Demetriou, etc. etc.
Was unbelievable stuff. Then the first listener received a special edition ANZAC Sherrin football, which he spent six minutes describing (I'm assuming, because I flicked over to other stations, and came back and he was still talking about it when I turned back over). Realised exactly how wrong I was from my original assumption.
If only Roos was coaching this side for another 3 years...
