good thing brendon mccullum will get another crack at winning a world cup when he plays fly half for the all blacks later in the year

A great sign of how much I've enjoyed this World Cup is the fact that I'm sad that it's ending now. Rather than being too long, I've not grown tired of it yet at all.

Value is subjective and all so if others have enjoyed 2011 or 2007 more then there's nothing wrong with that, but to say that only a couple of the matches here have been close/entertaining/memorable is just flat out wrong.
I too have enjoyed it and will be sad it all ends. Not much cricket for the BCs for the next few months. Not really a big IPL fan.

It's not like there wasn't good cricket though. Eng v Ind was a pretty high standard, as was the bowling in the Eng v SA game. And if you didn't find KOB and Bangladesh's chase brilliant then...
Swann and Tredwell inducing the West Indies collapse when they were all but home was brilliant too.

They were entertaining don't get me wrong, but it was not a strong period of international cricket.

Have enjoyed it but I can't wait to watch a test match.

I enjoyed the first couple of weeks of this so much more than the last two though.

Can they give a triple man of the match to the three left armers? If not give it to Faulkner, Starc can settle for his MotS trophy.

Lol Smithy's commentary always makes it more depressing that it already is when we're losing.
