They light up when the connection is broken, which would be the moment they are dislodged. They're a novelty to me. But also the match conditions should at least be changed to reflect their inclusion. Players seem to get given run-out when they light up instead of when the bails are dislodged, but obviously with bowled dismissals...
I thought they only light up when they dislodge, is that not the case? They're a novelty to me. But also the match conditions should at least be changed to reflect their inclusion. Reasonable chance at what, still coming second.Seriously good bowling from Henry. If TPC was gone then NZ would have a very reasonable chance.
Nah they can light up without being dislodged.I thought they only light up when they dislodge, is that not the case?
I assume it's impossible to have them light up only after the bails have been dislodged. They're not sentient beings or anything. It's to do with the weight of contact on the stumps i think. in this case obviously the ball only rolled onto the base and didnt even activate the lightI thought they only light up when they dislodge, is that not the case?
I thought SL v Aus was a very good game too until Chandiguns got injured tbf..Group games that were close for most of the match, or twisted and turned:
West Indies v Ireland
UAE v Zimbabwe
Afghanistan v Sri Lanka
UAE v Ireland
Scotland v Afghanistan
Australia v New Zealand
Pakistan v Zimbabwe
Scotland v Bangladesh
Pakistan v South Africa
Ireland v Zimbabwe
Bangladesh v England
And of course NZ/SA in the semis.
Now I realise a lot of those games contain associates or Ban/Zim, and people probably weren't very interested in them. That's fair enough, but at least be consistent about it and stop listing Afghanistan/Scotland if that's your argument.
yeah i'm fairly sure it's contact electronicsI assume it's impossible to have them light up only after the bails have been dislodged. They're not sentient beings or anything. Hate his voice.I love listening to Brian Lara commentate. He's so amusingly bad at it, but in an endearing sort of way.
I think the bails and stumps have metal contacts that complete some sort of capacitor circuit; when the bails are dislodged the circuit is broken and they light up.I assume it's impossible to have them light up only after the bails have been dislodged. Winning.Reasonable chance at what, still coming second.
Only mentioned Afg/Scotland because I was talking about truly top quality nailbenders which went down to the wire.Group games that were close for most of the match, or twisted and turned:
