i wonder if that's the major downside of the new regulations, they lead to massive blowouts in one direction or the other
I don't think they generate closer games or more exciting finishes or anything. it's very much in one direction i think

yeah when one team gets on a roll, they tend to get so far ahead of the game that it's close to impossible for the other team to do anything at all
I'm not sure I'd do too much except get rid of bowling restrictions (something I've wanted for years) and changing the 5 man out. I'd go with allowing 5 men out from the 30th over (as opposed to the 40th which some want)

the quarter finals being mostly rubbish as contests didn't help. the group stages were fine.
Yeah the first couple of weeks, when the associates were really competing were good fun but the latter stages define a tournament and apart from one great game they have all been poor. Unless something amazing happens here of course.
