It's irrelevant atm with the ball swinging. ODIs are two separate games these days;

1) To bat to 35 overs aiming for 160 for 2-3 down, then;

2) To aim to score 130-150 in the last 15.

Hence 28/1 after 10 isn't really a big deal.

Seeing off the swing with the new ball. Perfectly fine. Excellent batting even.

3 RPO at 10, 3.5 at 20, 4 at 30, then launch. 280 on the cards.

Theoretically yes, but just can't afford to lose a wicket now.
