Well played Aus. Hope you ****s get smashed by NZ. Not saying because I want NZ to win but because I want you guys to lose. Hard. I am going to kill that ****ing lizard.

@overratedsanity: saying this was a good world cup for India is bollocks. We weren't a very strong team. We bowled fine but this was a team which had the results show them far better than they were.

this is seriously so good as a revenge victory for the 2011 qf. Victory sealed during the middle overs and this is just rubbing it in

Did they exceed your expectations?

Yeah I don't think Dhoni will be retiring here. I think he had a decision to make between the 2019 World Cup and playing Tests for another three years or so, and he chose the 2019 WC. How I read into his original shock retirement anyway.
Dhoni's almost 34, he'd be 38 come the 2019 WC I somehow can't see it. The T20 WC is in India next year and that'd be a good time to say goodbye, or at worst the CT in 2017.

I can't believe the commentators haven't mentioned how disgraceful Dhoni's running was there. He would almost certainly have made it if he'd slid his bat in at full pace. Yes you can say the game was already over but that is not how he should be thinking.

Well played Australia. Chasing 329 was always way too tough.

Expecting Aus to win the final, hard for NZ.

There was a graphic which showed Rahane getting out thrice just outside off stump. While mostly I am not a fan of these graphics, this one highlights well the weakness of Rahane outside off. Goes for ones a bit too wide which he should leave alone. Rahane is an okay player with some promise but has lots to improve in his game right now.

What the ****? so what you mean to say is that because we've overperformed compared to our ability and exceeded expectations, that means it's a bad world cup campaign? We lost 1 match in the tournament ffs

Haha...nah. Today was piss poor, but really good overall. Well done on the campaign, boys... way exceeded pre-tournament expectations. Australia just a better team clearly... hopefully you Aussies get smashed by NZ on Sunday.

seriously even 90 runs defeat flatters how lopsided the chase became once india lost kohli and rohit. They lost it in about over 20 and just going through the motions

HAHA Faulkner rubbing it in.
